Associate Director, Value Communications

The professional in this role must possess and demonstrate a passion for cultivating existing and new client relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance current business in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors.

Location: Remote will be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Independently write, edit, and revise HTA submissions, post-submission support documents, and documents for scientific advice submissions according to the planned project timelines and/or budget, and in compliance with all company quality standards and processes.
  • Take responsibility for managing existing and developing client relationships, including provision of strategic support, methodological design/approach, and oversight for HTA submissions, post-submission support, and scientific advice submissions.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor staff on the development of documents for HTA submissions, post-submission support, and scientific advice submissions.
  • Assist in developing standards and processes, facilitate training opportunities, and provide consultation and resources to Genesis Research Group project teams for HTA submission and scientific advice function.
  • Ensure that Genesis Research Group HTA and scientific advice submissions to and on behalf of clients are consistent with the requirements of relevant external stakeholders, including HTAs and payers.
  • Work cross-functionally within the company with client management teams, leadership team, administrative staff, scientific staff, and medical writing staff, and externally with clients, medical practitioners, and HTA bodies, as needed.
  • Ability to create, communicate, and manage effective project plans that support the delivery of overall project objective(s); to identify, manage and guide project team members; to monitor and report on progress in an organized fashion; and to deliver the required results.
  • Quality Control responsibility for the final review, finalization of client deliverables, and ensuring all work is delivered at a high-quality.
  • Lead client capabilities presentations and meetings and support proposal development.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and uphold the Genesis Research Group culture.
  • Note: This role will include both oversight of HTA submissions and active preparation of submissions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD degree within a relevant discipline (e.g., health economics, mathematics, science, economics, or other related discipline).
  • 5+ years of experience of producing and managing production of HTA and/or scientific advice submissions from at least 2-3 of the following: NICE, SMC, CADTH, HAS, and G-BA. Experience of supporting product submissions to ICER is desirable.
  • 5+ years of industry or consulting experience in Life Science Research is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of specialty areas, including submissions to HTAs & payers in major European and North American markets. Knowledge of Asian and South American markets is desirable.
  • Previous membership of HTA expert committees/panels is desirable.
  • Outstanding healthcare/life sciences industry knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and motivation to take opportunities to develop oneself and others within Genesis Research Group.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a matrix environment and flexibility to adapt to client project needs in a fast-paced entrepreneurial workplace.
